i read this after my early morning reading of ACIM and meditation today. then i left for my walk. i have been noticing how often i do choose to be right instead of happy. while walking i caught my thoughts drifting to a friend who had been for dinner the other night. the thoughts revolved around my perceptions of fault. i replaced them with the reminder of my brother's perfect innocence and changeless Love, which has been my practice for some time now. a short time later, caught my mind drifting into false perception about my husband and chose again. but this morning i engaged the practice with a deeper desire for happiness. i am now headed off to sit with an elderly friend. my heart is filled with happiness. thank you tom, and endless Love, nicci

I am thrilled to read your site work. I love the visual you give to forgiveness. You make the untangible tangible. As humans this can be so helpful as we navigate this Earth part of our journey. So often we think the world we see with our eyes is the real world. It is not! The Real World is the Light. Looking forward to getting your blog feeds. Thanks for brightening my moments today.

I try to see myself as God sees me, I see myself as valuable and precious, my value is not determined by money or what other people think I'm worth, but on what the word of God says about me. Then I try not to judge others at all. Everyone has something about them that they and God are working on. We are all a work in progress.

Thank you, Tom. This is just so in my face at the moment with one opportunity after another coming forward and I am so grateful for this practice of forgiveness. I am really finding out what it means 'to love my what brother for what he is and not judging him for what he pretends to be or who I pretend he is.' I am recognising old beliefs and patterns which I am willing to let go now. What you have written helps me to stay with it. Bless you and thank you.
Love,
Bridget

Just after reading your reply here, someone else mentioned Chapter 13, "out of the blue"; so Kathe and I have delved into it and it is indeed rich material. we will get back to you on that--thanks for the direction, Tom.

Hi John, The issue you speak of, wanting to "hide" from God, seems impossible to understand when seen from the perspective of now accepting God as an all and only Loving Presence. Before our understanding this, however, the ego's image of God is an extension of what it thinks is true about itself - a vengeful presence, sometimes angry and prone to attack. Chapter 13, ACIM is very clear about why we fear God and the subtle ways we manage to avoid acknowledging this is true. I urge you to give it a read. Let me know if you would like further clarification. Thanks for your comment! Tom
