At the bottom of it all, it is our Oneness we must accept.
The condition of our bodies or the “body” of the earth, directly depends on whether it is love or fear we want to find and share. Realization of our desire for the happiness
of our friends and family is only possible when we
recognize everyone is a friend and part of our family.
Our thoughts have long enough supported a world of
suffering and hate. We have been ignorant of what is really
true and of our ability to change what is not true. God’s Will for us is perfect happiness, not sacrifice or penance. We can end the ego’s journey and accept the means God has given us to share His peace and joy right now.
We have no real concept of the power of our mind to create or to heal because we use it now to fabricate ego stories of lack and suffering. Learning to use it for a different purpose requires that we begin to think outside the box guilt has imposed; to assume that the “best” and not the worst is true.
Whether you are able to see the world as an illusion, or simply that you are responsible for your own story in it, you will have found no justification to condemn anyone for playing the part you asked of them. With this awareness, we can understand what it means to be free in this world.
No one attacks another if they are at peace within themselves. Everything we “see” is a mirror for the inner image we have of ourselves. Everything. By this principle then, no one will be attacked by another if they are at peace with themselves. No matter how it appears, we are all joined within a single mind and consciousness, each of us responding perfectly to one another’s beliefs.
We spend much of our time, in sometimes painful ways,trying to make ourselves lovable. There is another way. Simply say to your God Self, "I am willing to be loved." Mean it, and love will come to you.
Forgive the world and you have changed its purpose from judgment to joy. Forgive yourself and you have found the freedom to love.
NEW YEAR RESOLUTION Resolve to be the Voice for God. All other choices expect too little and so must leave you unfulfilled. Resolve that it will be His Eyes you use to see, His Heart to decide the worth of everything. His ears will determine what you hear; His Voice will speak the words that all will know to be the truth.
We could not give a greater gift to anyone than to see our mind joined with theirs. We do not yet realize the joy we both would feel in accepting our brother as ourself until we recognize his mind as part of ours. We have no sense of what it is to be free until we have experienced this joining. We cannot know the Love of God until we have accepted it for everyone.
