There is a thought within our consciousness that we have sinned and lost our connection to Love. Believing this to be true we have made a part of our self to take the blame, separated from it and now call it “brother.” But our efforts at projection have not been entirely effective. The idea that we are bad still remains with us. We call that idea, “ego.” And as we respond to the ego idea that we are bad by judging our “brother” for it, we have come to accept that this ego is who we are. Whether we see it as a brother or an ego, the idea has become a real entity. And thinking of it being some-thing other than an idea, makes letting it go infinitely harder. Reduce sin to what it really is – an idea that would substitute the power of hate for love. Now decide if that “idea” is what you want.
