The path to awakening would be very simple if we would stop trying to change ourselves and just accept what we already are. We could let go our need to “learn” since learning is only necessary because we deny what we already know and try to substitute our misperceptions instead. We could stop trying to overcome or change our ego self, knowing it was only a character in a fictional story. There would be no need to become “enlightened,” we would just trust that what God created us to be was good enough, perhaps even a tad better, than what we try to make of ourselves. God has a Plan for each of us to do this if we will only be open to accept It. It begins with the realization we have never changed what God created Like Himself and ends as we recognize the one we have called “brother,” looks suspiciously like our Self.
