Changing Our Mind

The one fundamental issue we must address before we can honestly say we want to change our mind, is, am I willing to freely share my mind and thoughts with everyone? It was when the thought of sin entered our mind and the need arose to deny responsibility for it that we tried to “compartmentalize” our mind, to separate the good self from the bad. Only then could something, a “world,” seem to exist apart from us. There are many intermediate thoughts we can let go that will more closely align us with the truth. But it is the need to separate ourselves from one another that separates us from the truth. Ask yourself if you are ready to remove the mental wall that seems to give you a separate mind. The resistance to letting your brother in will clearly tell you what needs to be forgiven to accept yourself.
