The ego’s perception, and the world it spawns, is built upon the belief that there is something wrong with us. Every disagreement, angry thought, “natural” disaster, sickness and death, every reason not to love, arises from this single thought. All our struggles to heal disease, fix the environment, or put an end to war, has its source in this thought. Remove this thought and we are free of all its effects. Forgive this one thought when anything seems to threaten your peace and we will heal the world – and be free to love again.
