Guidance is not something we need to ask for or even be able to hear, for it to function in, and change our lives. God has placed an awareness in our consciousness to do this for us. Jesus tell us: “No needs will long be left unmet if you leave them all to Him whose function is to meet them. That is His function, and not yours.” Then, in lesson 135, “What could you not accept if you but knew that everything that happens, all events past, present and to come, are gently planned by one whose purpose is your good?” There is a “plan” in place that will unfold for us, if we do not over-ride it with one of our own. With God’s Plan already laid out for us, our responsibility is not to be tempted to make another one for ourselves.
