The Fear Of Pain And Death

The fear of pain and death is the direct effect of our self-imposed guilt. We increase its strength and hold over us with every judgment of our brother’s “guilt.” Love is the antidote for fear, but love cannot be found where guilt is perceived to be. It is also true that sin cannot exist where there is love. We do not need to choose for love, for love is what we are. But if fear is what we want we must choose to have it, otherwise it could not exist. Forgive your guilt, the cause of fear; declare that sin is not real. The opposition to love will now be gone and without its cause the idea of pain and death will disappear.
