When fear arises it is because we have forgotten Who walks with us. Fear is the sense of being alone, which, in turn, only seems possible when we feel unloved or unloving. Learning to ask for guidance throughout the day, for even the most mundane choices, keeps us aware of the constant Presence of our holy and wholly loving Self; the Presence of all Creation. When the dark moments then seem to come we have the means to quickly surrender those thoughts because we have established the reality of the Presence being there to help us, to remind us that we are indeed wholly loved and never alone.
